In the song, she felt that the anorexia gave her a purpose in life, and how she is managing it.

Lisa Loeb – She’s Falling Apart

This song was co-written by Thom Schuyler and Loeb. The former wrote this song because he had an important person in his life that had anorexia. This was what urged him to co-write the song. The song is dedicated to those teens that are suffering from anorexia and how the eating disorder has affected them and their family members.

Mariana’s Trench – Skin and Bones

Many feel that a side effect of anorexia is someone being too thin. This is not the case every time, as anorexia is not the only cause of one being so thin. Another eating disorder that can cause this is called bulimia.

For someone that has bulimia, he or she has no issues with eating, but in the end, he or she loses the food eaten by throwing up or making use of laxatives.

In this song, Mariana’s Trench talks about a struggle with bulimia. The person may see the need to purge, which is reasonable only to the person. It talks about the effects of this eating disorder.

Queen Adreena – My Silent Undoing

When you listen to this song, you won’t help but notice the hauntingly high-pitched and frail-sounding voice of the singer. Her voice is perfect for what she portrays about anorexia. When you listen to the lyrics, you tend to understand what a person suffering from anorexia has to deal with. According to her, she likens the disorders to a wasp in a jar. It may be contained, and that doesn’t change the fact that it is deadly.
